Day 1: Small Circuit Temple Tour with Sunset

Explore the mysterious Angkor Thom, Ta Phrom and Angkor Wat (normally known as small circuit tour) in one day. Watch the beautiful sunset at Phnom Bakheng to end this tour.

  • Duration: 9.5 hours

  • Places to visit: Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Ta Prohm, Angkor Wat & Phnom Bakheng.

You can expect:

Start the day with a transfer to Angkor Thom. Visit Bayon Temple that is full of smiling faces carved with the image of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. We will then take you to the Terrace of the Elephants, which served as a platform from where the King could welcome back his victorious army and the Terrace of the Leper King, which holds detailed carvings winding along a narrow passage way that leads to the Baphuon complex. We will continue our journey out of Angkor Thom, to visit Ta Phrom where the Hollywood movie “Tom Raider” is filmed.

Enjoy your lunch before we head to Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world, located in the northwest of Cambodia, in Siem Reap 5.5 km north. It is the best preserved temples among the Angkor monuments.

The tour ends at Phnom Bakheng where you can enjoy beautiful sunset view at the peak of the hill.

Day 2: Grand Circuit Temple Tour with Sunrise

Watch one of the most beautiful sunrise views in the world at Angkor Wat and start the grand circuit tour.

  • Places to visit: Angkor Wat, Preah Khan, Neak Pean, East Mebon, Ta Som, Banteay Srei & Pre Rup.

You can expect:

Our tour starts slightly earlier than usual at 4.30am so you are able to watch one of the most beautiful sunrise in Angkor Wat. After the sunrise, we will visit to Preah Khan which is built by King Jayavarman VII to honor his father. Tour continues to Neak Paen, an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Jayatataka Baray, which was associated with Preah Khan, Ta Som, the classic small temple and East Mebon, a temple was build in the center of the East baray that could only be reached by boat.

We will then have lunch before heading to Bantaey Srei, the jewel of Khmer art. Its red sand-stone walls are decorated with elaborate carvings in an amazing state of preservation.

On our way return to hotel, we will pay a visit at Pre Rup, a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction.

Day 3: Outside Angkor Tour

Explore the world out of the Angkor city. There are more await you to discover.

  • Places to visit: Beng Mealea, Tonle Sap Lake & Rolous Group

You can expect:

Prepare yourself to embark on a jungle adventure and to discover the mysterious temple Beng Mealea. Till now, Beng Mealea is still original as it is, no restoration has been done. The history of this temple is unknown, but it can be dated only by its architectural style, identical to Angkor Wat.

We will then take you to explore the Cambodian lifestyle in a village on the stilts, Kampong Phluk. Take a boat, see the surprising views around, you will find the unique Cambodian experience here!

Journey continue to the Rolous Group temple – Bakong, Prah Ko & Lolei. Among the "Roluos Group" of temples, there are some of the earliest permanent structures built by Khmer. They mark the beginning of classical period of Khmer civilization, dating from the late 9th century.
